To eat
Chocho is a new restaurant with Thomas Chisholm, former candidate of Top Chef, at the stove. They are offered a seasonal and reasoned cuisine, a subtle mix between French, Catalan and American cuisine in reference to the origins of the chef!
The Italian gastronomy is also represented in the capital thanks to the group Big mamma whose reputation is not any more to prove. One of their restaurants remains in the heart of the team, the Libertino. Go through the pink neon door and you will discover a vegetal atmosphere and comforting traditional dishes.
If you are a fan of Japan, Ogata is made for you. Ogata is two addresses in one name. The first one is located in the heart of ‘Le Marais’, lgbt and artistic neighbourhood. You will discover a workshop, a tea bar, a pastry shop and a bar, all in a former private mansion. A little further in the district hides the restaurant of the same name where the chef Watanabe Kazuki proposes us a cooking between the French soil and the Japanese recipes. Moreover, you will find a tea tasting room in the basement.
Chef Taku Sekine of the great restaurant Dersou offers a more affordable cuisine in his new restaurant Cheval d'or. You can enjoy Chinese flavored dishes with a clean service and a very neat presentation.
To drink
Coeur Sacré is the new rooftop of Montmartre, with its incredible view on the city, you won't be disappointed. It is a bar, a restaurant, but also a designer boutique. It puts forward the beautiful and the good things. Moreover, to get there, you can take the funicular from the bottom of the city, very authentic !
It was in 1793 that the Grand Café Tortoni was created. A real institution in the capital. Many writers and intellectuals went there like Balzac or Maupassant. Today, this café is located in the 3rd.
The Gravity bar is a place for the riders. The place is inspired by surfing and skateboarding, a wooden wave above the bar in waxed concrete cast on site, a design furniture, it is the atmosphere that reigns.
